People sometimes say that Singapore is a melting pot, but around 75% of local people are of Chinese descentants 😉
Everyone knows how hard working Chinese people are (regarless whether you like their culture or not), but it’s SHOCKING how this is beyond true.

It’s just something out of this world sometimes how a culture takes tasks and completes them quickly , quickly, quickly. When visiting local food markets, I’m always surprised to see that the majority of people cleaning tables are elderly people (seriously ancient).
Obviously these are people in need but you don’t see such elderly people in my country cleaning tables and doing so much physical work.
In a nutshell, it’s admirable to see a culture where people are determined to work hard, regardless the age at times.
